Reaching out for support takes Courage. Whether you're clear about what you need or still figuring it out, I'm here to listen and work with you at a pace that feels right, in a Calm and nurturing space.
You might not have the words for what you're experiencing right now. Perhaps you're functioning on the outside but struggling on the inside. Or maybe everything has become too much and you need someone to help you make sense of it all. Therapy isn't about fixing you because you're not broken. It's about creating space to understand what's happening and finding ways through that actually work for you.
I'm Emma, a Humanistic Integrative counsellor working with teens, adults and older adults near Dorchester. My approach is flexible and tailored to you, whether you need short-term support or longer exploration.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of challenges, from specific life events to ongoing difficulties that have built up over time. Whatever has brought you to consider counselling, please get in touch and we can discuss your situation and explore ways to move forward together.
Sessions are available face-to-face, via Zoom, or as walk and talk therapy.

Life brings many challenges, and it is understandable that at times we might look for support in facing them. As a counsellor, my role is to provide space and guidance to help you on your journey of self-discovery, enabling you to examine your life and make new, meaningful choices.
Counselling provides a confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement.
Through our sessions, you'll gain clarity on what you're facing and develop ways to move forward. My role is to listen deeply and work alongside you at a pace that feels right.
Using an integrative approach means I can tailor our work to your needs, sometimes incorporating creative methods that help access emotions in new ways.
Whether you're dealing with something specific or feeling generally overwhelmed, therapy offers a place to pause, process and find your path.
“People are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand corner.’ I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds.”
Carl Rogers
Many people come to counselling during difficult times. Perhaps you're struggling with grief and loss, navigating relationship difficulties, or working through past trauma. You might be facing identity questions, dealing with low self-esteem, or managing the impact of chronic health conditions. Some clients arrive knowing exactly what they want to work on, whilst others simply know something needs to change. Whatever you're experiencing, you'll find a welcoming space to explore what matters most to you.
Not sure if counselling is right for you? Reach out for a free 20-minute telephone consultation. We can chat about what you're looking for, see if you feel comfortable and if you sense a true connection. There's no pressure or obligation, just an opportunity to ask questions and get a sense of how I work.
